LaGuardia! the first day of school
Today was the day. The beginning of the rest of our lives. (Or, "the four best years of our lives", as the teachers like to put it. Kind of depressing, actually. So, our lives will just spiral downward from the day we graduate? ;-D)
I woke up at 5:45. The sky was a deep, inky blue. I had this kind of bottomless feeling in my stomach, when you're anticipating something, but you have absolutely no idea what to expect.
Philip, Mason, and I joined the mob of people waiting at the door. There were a lot of people. People there were so friendly, and cool! It seemed like there were 20 girls for every 4 guys, even though it's more like 3 to 2. We had OP (official period) got schedules and metrocards, and went to our first class. Mine was on the sixth floor. The escalators weren't working, naturally. `<o_o>' Probably some kind of "Punish the Freshmen" thing. And it wasn't even friday! Oh well.
For the most part, I liked the teachers. For this term, my classes are: Global (social studies) 1 Honors, Geometry 1, Voice 1, Spanish 3, Elementary Chorus, Lunch (or Lab), English Honors 1, Living Environment 1, Phys Ed, and Sightsinging 1V.
On Fridays, we actually don't have a lunch period. We have science lab :-/ .......
I'll write more later... I got about 2 hours of sleep last night... g'night
